Canva Blog Post Checklist

I like to plan out my day and check off things that I complete so that I can stay on track with my goals. Are you the same? If so, I am giving you a copy of my Canva blog post checklist.

What is with me and checklists?

Checklists are my everything. My grocery list, daily work tasks, Christmas shopping list, you name it. I have tried to get on board with the whole online list apps but for some reason I always go right back to good old fashioned pen and paper lists. I guess old habits don’t change for me.

When I started blogging, I started making lists of all the important details in a blog post that I needed to remember each time I wrote one. And this got me thinking.

What if I made an easy to follow checklist that I can laminate and keep in my workspace and check the tasks off with a dry erase marker as I go? Then once my post is published and I am ready to start the next one, I can erase my checkmarks and start all over since it is laminated for unlimited uses!

This was a great idea in my eyes since I wouldn’t have to keep reusing my crinkled written list I made on notebook paper that I had been using. I had also spilled coffee on it but that’s not important.

I made it with Canva

All I did was head on over to  opens in a new windowCanva and created my masterpiece with every blog post step that I wanted to include on an infographic template.  After my design was complete, I downloaded it as a PDF and printed it out on opens in a new windowcardstock. You dont have to use opens in a new windowcardstock for this but I had a bunch left over from a project so I thought why not!

My checklist is 2 pages so I just put them together to make a 2 sided checklist. The last step was to get out my opens in a new windowlaminator and finish it up.  Now I can have it ready to go for my next blog post!

See how easy it was? You don’t have to be a fancy designer to make your own graphics or blog tools I have learned. All you need is a little creativity and Canva. However, if you don’t want to go through all the trouble of making one don’t even worry. I am sharing mine with you! I hope it’s a huge help during your blogging process.
